Yes, when done by trained professionals with the right equipment. We adjust water pressure based on your pipe material, age, and condition. Cast iron, clay, and PVC pipes all require different pressure settings.
Before we start any hydro jetting work, the camera inspection shows us the condition of your pipes. If we spot cracks, breaks, or severely deteriorated sections, we’ll recommend repairs first.
Many of Norwood’s homes were built in the 1940s and 50s with cast iron sewer lines. These pipes can handle hydro jetting when the pressure is properly calibrated. We’ve been working on these older systems for 17 years without causing damage.
